Robert J. Steel

Currently an Assistant Professor in Philosophy at the University of Nebraska, Omaha. Formerly a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Center for Population-Level Bioethics at Rutgers and the Clinical Center Department of Bioethics at the US National Institutes of Health. Now work mostly on bioethics, especially research ethics. Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh for a dissertation on the epistemology of peer disagreement (specifically) and higher-order evidence (more broadly); I defended a conciliationist view.
